lessons from the crisis in Egypt

Productivity Cubed - Leaders have to decide whether to use power or force. This dilemma was played out in Technicolor for the whole world to see as the events played out in Egypt. On one side the government had all the tanks, guns, and thugs. On the other side the protesters just had their personal power. In this case, the protesters just using power transformed the country, the region, and the entire world.

As leaders in our companies, communities, and families we have to decide whether we should use power or force. Umar Hameed, the founder of Productivity Cubed (www.ProductivityCubed.com) shares an insightful exercise that teaches leaders the distinction between using force and using power. This is a highly experiential exercise that delivers the distinction between force and power to the core of who you are.
